About KeptRing
KeptRing is a done-for-you AI answering service for US home-service and construction contractors. It answers the calls you miss, takes the job details, and emails you the lead. Tom R. started it in 2026 and runs it from the Indianapolis area.
Who runs it
I'm Tom, the founder. I started KeptRing because contractors lose jobs every time a call rings out while the crew is busy. Since Oct. 1, 2026, Google can also charge for some business-hours calls nobody answered. KeptRing is built to answer those calls and put the lead in your inbox right after.
KeptRing is a small, new business. We don't have customer results to show yet, and we won't post testimonials or numbers until real customers give us real ones.

What KeptRing does
- Answers inbound calls you miss, in your company's name. After-hours answering is optional.
- Tells every caller it's an automated assistant and that the call may be recorded.
- Takes the caller's name, callback number, service address, the problem, how urgent it is, and when they'd like someone out.
- Emails you a lead summary after each call. Your office follows up with the caller.
- For gas, CO, fire, or injury calls, tells the caller to get to safety and call 911 or the gas utility.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't transfer calls or ring your phone during a call. Not yet.
- It makes no outbound calls. KeptRing answers inbound calls only.
- It doesn't text your callers. Optional lead-alert texts to contractor customers start only after carrier registration is approved, and leads always go by email.
- It doesn't quote prices, promise arrival times, or claim to be human.
- It doesn't lower what Google charges per lead, and it never logs into your Google account.
- It isn't an emergency service and doesn't replace 911 or your own emergency line.
Who it's for
HVAC, plumbing, and electrical shops first, plus roofers, restoration companies, garage door companies, remodelers, and other trades, in any US state. It's built with Google Local Services Ads in mind, but you don't need LSA to use it.
